Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

You will be responsible to pay for return shipping plus a 15% re-stocking fee. A refund will only be issued if the item is returned in perfect condition and undamaged.

To start a return, you can contact us at gosurf@fatdaddyswakesurf.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue. Once your order has been shipped and is in the carrier’s possession, Fat Daddy’s Wake Surf is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or delayed packages. We recommend selecting a shipping option with insurance or contacting the carrier directly to file a claim if an issue arises. If your board arrives damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please note that you should photograph any damage to the board and packaging as part of filing a claim with carrier. Claims should be processed using the carrier's website. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Barrette Wakesurf Boards — Made to Order

All Barrette Wakesurf Boards sold through Fat Daddy's Wake Surf are made to order directly by the manufacturer. Because each board is custom-built at the time of purchase, Barrette boards are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.

This policy applies to all Barrette models regardless of size, color, or configuration selected at checkout.

We encourage you to reach out before placing your order if you have any questions about sizing, shape, or which model is right for your riding style. Our team is happy to help you make the right call before your board goes into production.
